Window vista was first launched around the month of November in 2006, and it was made available for retail exactly on January 30th 2007. In preceding Three months, it was released in stages to computer hardware and software manufacturers, business customers, and retail channels.
Anyway, this was a very brief intro of the launch of the vista to remind you that how many birthdays it has celebrated so far.
When the vista was about to launched for public, entire world was ready to welcome and receive it with it's open arms, but when people started using it, a huge chunk of vista users switch over from vista to XP again.

Vista; which was launched loaded with many new changes and features, including an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, a redesigned search functionality, multimedia tools including Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems, has failed to meet up the expectations of a vast amount of population. The fact that vista has not been liked as much as it’s predecessor XP, have become apparent when branded lap tops, note-books, and desktop pcs started coming preloaded with windows vista. There was nothing wrong in it I think, But what would you say when hardware manufacturers started making such sort of computers, that you cannot install XP on it? Got my point? It shows the failure of vista, and frustration of Microsoft.

Personally, I don’t like the complexity of vista, and new search option, and many more things that it includes, but one thing I liked allot about it, that it has a very very good and cool sound theme!!! Yeah. The sounds that are played when the particular event occurs. Events like shutting down of window, startup, closing of a program, and many many more.

If you’ve fed up with you’re XP sounds, you have come to the right place. In this post, I’ll tell you how you can change your XP sounds to vista, and how you’re XP starts sounding like vista with a few clicks of a mouse!!!
********First I’ll suggest that please, please, please!!! ****make a backup of your xp sounds.***** For this: go to c:\windows, now search the folder name media, to make sure that this is the same folder that I’m suggesting, please go inside the folder and check that there are so many tiny wave sounds. Like: tata.wav, notify .wav, and chord.wav. There are around 37 sounds, if you’ve not made changes in this folder.
If you’ve find this folder, you have hit the ball at the right spot at the deck. Copy the entire media folder in any safe place, like “D: or “E” drive. Now download the Executable file “media.exe by clicking the link at the end of this post, and double click on it to start the extraction process. Click the install button, and by default it’ll be installed in it’s right target, I.E. (C:\windows).
Press the install button, and in the next step, it’ll ask you to replace the existing files. Choose the “yes to all button”. After clicking the “Yes to all button”, it’ll take the 10-15 seconds or so, and now your XP will sound like vista.

In case you don’t like the vista sound theme, just copy the old media folder that you’ve copied before the installation of this sound theme, and paste it inside the folder name windows located inside the “C” drive of your PC.

Tanpura is an old indian instrument consisting of Four or five and rarely six wire strings, and often used by the performers of Indian and south Indian clasical music.
It is termed as Tambura in South India, Tamburo in Gujarati, and Tanpura in North India. However, regardless of it’s different names in different regions or languages, the relaxing and calming effect of the sound of this instrument remains the same.

It doesn’t mean that there is no use of it for you. You can play it very slowly while you’re studying, while you’re doing yoga, it can be very useful for you while you’re enchanting om during yoga, and while enchanting gayatri-mantra, it can also be used while you’re worshiping. if you’re a spiritual person, you may wish to bring some spiritual touch in your home with the help of this digitized Tanpura, and so on.
